I wanted to create a high quality Roman Gladius weapon in Maya and ZBrush. I modelled the base in Maya then the high poly in ZBrush. Textured and rendered in Substance Painter. I used some floral alphas to create the design in zbrush to bake the high poly in substance painter 3D Model is ready to download for free
with 8 Texture files attached, this model contains 7924 polygons and 3994 vertices.

Tryed some new (for me) features of making UVs and baking normals in ZBrush. While the sculpt part was quite fast, working on UVs, textures and render took much more time…
