I had a personal project to do for school and I decided to create in 3D the 2D Nadja Clauberg’s concept (nadtsu) : https://www.instagram.com/p/BaeGm18ATTV/
I really enjoy to take artwork and do my best to make the 3D look as similar as possible. It is a good way to practice and improve.
I explored different type of workflow in this project to see what I prefer and I tried to use Substance Painter to make stylised textures. I had a lot of fun and I am happy with the result 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 72710 polygons.

Particle system it on branches. I only used 32 instances. Weight paint where to grow these leaves. Go back to 1 to adjust the scale of the leaves.
Normal edit the leaf normals to a canopy-shaped sphere. Set MaxAngle < 90.
