Cartoon style model of race track, located near Castellet, east of Marseille, France. It was built in 1969, and opened in 1970. Mostly it was sponsored by Paul Ricard, who wanted to experience the challenges on making a race circuit. At the time it was opened, it was considered the safest track in the world. Wide tarmac run off areas with red and blue stripes make a lot of room for mistakes, and give the track a unique look. Thanks to warm winters of south France, this track is a popular location for winter off-season testing. Since 2018 it also holds Formula 1 French Grand Prix 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 651119 polygons.
