I've started learning Blender and this was a good starting set of models to make! For some reason I keep gravitating towards making colourful food models.... I might be hungry 😅 Heavily inspired by https://www.artstation.com/artwork/YaYKNY by Ebru Gumustas (especially the base cupcake and texturing style), but all of the cupcakes are my own design and modelled from scratch in Blender. Developed as part of assginment that required to create a scene using modular assets.
The concept is largely a mock-up of a mini-golf game with pinball elements. To add onto the appeal of these pasttimes, a retro flavor inspired by Nitrome games and Sonic is heavily incoporated into the visual design of the scene, whilst keeping a stylised detailed look to it, which takes cues from Super Mario Odyssey and Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe.
