You step into the library, feeling the tremendous knowledge it possesses. You feel a presence of greater will, that inhabits this place. A soul, kind yet hostile to those unworthy. And as you turn to take a last glance at the overwhelming amount of tomes living in these ancient shelfs, there you see it, watching you… and it does welcome you. It was such a great project to work on! It was tons of fun to work on a complex character and make it game ready! The task was really challenging since this is the first attempt at a complex character in stylized style but I really love how it turned out. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do! 3D Software:
The 3D model was originally created in Blender 3.1 and rendered with Cycles.
Materials and textures:
The models have materials applied in all formats, and are ready to import and render.
Materials are image based using PBR, the model comes with four 4k png image textures.
Preview scenes:
The preview images are rendered in Blender using its built-in render engine ‘Cycles’.
Note that the blend files come directly with the rendering scene included and the render command will generate the exact result as seen in previews.

The models are built mostly out of quads.

A stylised plane originally i nspired from the Macchi M33 seaplane! (the one featured in the studio ghibli film porco rosso)
This design is way fatter and i tried to add as much weight as i could and get it into the whale theme while still keeping it consistent and somewhat matching with the original plane.
Everything went along swimmingly outside of texturing and animation as those are the two i havent dabbled that much in, especially since this is my first time creating a stylised texture, think it went well though!
This was made for the course “Game Art” in DAE and im quite proud of my work!
We have to make stylised interbellum aircraft and make those in a particular style, feel free to look the assignment up and you will see many other great examples!
