This relief carving is in one of the crypts at Dendera Temple, Egypt and has been interpreted by various fringe or conspiracy theorists and “alternate" history nuts as evidence of the ancient Egyptians having light bulbs. However, that pseudoscientific interpreation is false. This is a depiction of an aspect of ancient Egyptian theology. The scene depicts the creation of the sun god in the form of a serpent surrounded by either an oval body of water or a magical (heka) field. At the end of the oval is a lotus blossom and stem. No need to create sensatial false explanantions when actual data is more interesting. Created from 40 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T7i) using Metashape 1.7.0. “This colossal bust of Ramesses II is one of the largest sculptures in the British Museum, but it is only the top part of a much bigger seated statue of the king. The bottom part is still in the Ramesseum, Ramesses’ memorial temple on the west bank of the Nile at Thebes (modern Luxor). It offers the opportunity to study several different aspects of kingship in ancient Egypt, including the connection between the pharaoh and the gods.” ~ http://www.teachinghistory100.org/objects/bust_of_ramesses_ii

An ancient Egyptian arched sistrum (musical percussion instrument similar to a rattle). The provenance is unknown as the piece was purchased in Luxor in 1908. It likely dates to the Late Period.
The sistrum is pierced twice on each side of the arch where the moving pieces would have been inserted. Below the arch, we see a wedjat eye above a nb-sign. Hathor’s head is flanked by two columns and bears her characteristic plaited wig. This example is unusual for the lack of a double headed Hathor, only one side bears Hathor’s face with the back of the sistrum featuring the sun disk and horns (Hathor’s symbol).
The inscription reads “Words spoken by Bastet-Iru-Di-Set”.
See “Glimpses of ancient Egypt: Studies in Honour of H. W. Fairman” 1979, p.17 & pl.IV for more info.

TT 159 and TT 286 were ecavated by Clarence Fisher (University of Pennsylvania) in 1921-1923 in Dra Abu El Naga (a site on the West Bank of Luxor, housing hundreds of noblemen’s tombs dating from the Middle Kingdom, scattered periods in the 18th-26th Dynasties, and the Ptolemaic period). In response to the Ministry of Antiquities’ (MoA) desire to develop the site, TT 159, the 19th Dynasty tomb of the ‘Fourth Prophet of Amun, Raya’ and his wife Mutemwia and TT 286, the 20th Dynasty tomb of ‘the Scribe of the Table, Niay’, were selected for improvement by ARCE, with funding from USAID. In addition to conserving and opening the two tombs in 2019 through the training of 13 conservators from MoA, ARCE also provided more than 537 jobs to local workers who assisted in clearing the site and building visitor infrastructure.
