A product of my studies into various minerals. Featuring:
a game ready version (with 4K textures), with a diffuse, roughness, normal, and displacement maps. Clean UV a low poly game ready version (732 tris) and a full quality displaced model (featured here for preview). Keep in mind the displacement will not work as well on the low-poly model. A procedural version with a procedural material and modifiers, build in Blender 2.93 (will only work in blender) The procedural material works on any model, no UV required. “Fluorite is the mineral form of calcium fluoride, CaF2. It belongs to the halide minerals. It crystallizes in isometric cubic habit, although octahedral and more complex isometric forms are not uncommon. 3D model of Ardrossan Castle during the 1st week of the Exploring Castle Hill Excavations of 2019. The model was captured with photos taken on two seperate days and with visitors and diggers milling about but Reality Capture software has filtered much of this noise out and blender was used to edit out any problem area’s.
Exploring Castle Hill is part of a Cultural Heritage and Archaeology Project being led by Northlight Heritage for Garnock Connections. The Project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Historic Environment Scotland.
