Happy Halloween! I've always loved the Warcraft hand painted art style, and I was Inspired by the in-game Hallow's End event in World of Warcraft. My goal was to create a 3D scene that a player could stumble upon in Azeroth, to trick or treat at. This was a lot of fun to work on and will probably make some more WoW inspired scenes in the future 3D Model is ready to download for free

I created this warmaul for DAE’s Weaponcraft asssignment.
A relic weapon designed for “The Scarlet Crusade”, a fanatical religious sect on a grand quest to rid Azeroth of the Undead Scourge up in former Lordaeron. It never had the possibility to shine its brightest light due all the corruption from within.
The Scarlet Crusade always interested me in the time I played WoW, but never did I invest in their lore as much. Doing a deep dive I discovered about this lad Saidan Dathoran who was their “Grand Crusader” before being corrupted by this dreadlord. The weapon they portrayed Dathoran with looked like a big rock on a stick, so I thought I’d design something a bit more worthy for a “Grand Crusader”.
