This is a 3D reconstruction of a typical 15th century Bed, with an oak wood frame and linen bedding. The matress is suspended on ropes, which are attached to the frame.

Wessex Archaeology 3D models are historically accurate - based on real world artefacts with input from historical and archaeological experts. This model is part of a VR experience of a medieval weaver's house, based on a site in Salisbury.

The model uses PBR textures and is optimised for real-time applications such as in Unreal Engine.

Pivot points are set at world origin, transformations are frozen, and scale is correct to real world dimensions.
