This is a piece I created for this month's CGBoost challenge! Living transmutation is often seen as an alchemy taboo. So what if a kid managed to do it to bring back his pet bird? I had a lot of fun doing this piece. The final render is cel shaded, this is a show of the models. This wooden statue is approx. 8 feet high.
Unfortunately, the sun wasn’t being particularly helpful for this scan as it kept popping out from behind the clouds for some of the shots.
