This is a piece I created for this month's CGBoost challenge! Living transmutation is often seen as an alchemy taboo. So what if a kid managed to do it to bring back his pet bird? I had a lot of fun doing this piece. The final render is cel shaded, this is a show of the models. (1st: skeleton study - 2nd: muscle study) and last step adding the skin and sculpting the Big Cat with some more dynamic pose!
I turned off symmetry mode ‘cuz I def have to learn how to sculpt after I posed the cat.
