Scultura preparatoria in pastiglia e stucco raffigurante Ercole con la clava Grosseto, Polo Culturale “Le Clarisse” Gianfranco Luzzetti acquistò questa scultura nel 1992 da un antiquario in Bosnia. Il confronto per l’attribuzione è palese: il bronzetto del Giambologna che rappresenta Ercole con la clava del Museo Nazionale del Bargello di Firenze. La singolare bellezza della scultura Luzzetti, la qualità della lavorazione e la struttura vigorosa sono tutte caratteristiche che sembrano confermare la correttezza dell’attribuzione a Giambologna (pseudonimo di Jean de Boulogne; Douai 1529 - Firenze 1608).
