Sorry for butchering the Katana to the traditionalists out there. The symbols on the Habaki should read (God & Family) or (god & home) in Japanese. The Symbols on the Tsuba & Kashira is a “Hidari Gomon” or “Triskelion” in english, which has many meanings in many cultures including Irish & Japanese. One of my favorites being “The cycle of Life, Death & Rebirth”.
