Lithuanian Renault FT-17 purchased from France during the interwar period. This is an older model, never really intended to put it up for sale, so the optimisation is quite bad. This is one of my first car models I built for a free independant racing game that allowed user generated content (racer.nl). It had a wonderful community that i do miss quite a bit. This was created before normal maps, high poly counts, and Substance Painter, but at least we had Photoshop…
The Renault Alpine A110 is one of my favorite vintage automobiles of all time. I have only seen this car once in the flesh, and hope to again some day, it’s so beautiful to me. I have debated rebuilding this model as a high poly asset many times so I dug it out to see how it holds up in Sketchfab all these years later. See what you think and maybe download it for fun. Unfortunately I seem to have lost all the source PSD files for the textures and offer no tech support on the model (it is nearly 20 years old after all).

This is a digitized section of the “Isabelle de Borchgrave: Fashioning Art from Paper” exhibit at Louisville, Kentucky’s Speed Art Museum.
“[The Exhibit] features the life-size, trompe l’œil paper costumes of Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave (born 1946). Following a visit to the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum in 1994, de Borchgrave began working in the new medium, creating trompe l’œilpaper works in what eventually would become four major paper fashion collections.” - Speed Art Museum website
This model was created using photogrammetry. The photos were taken June 20, 2021. This model is incomplete and represents only a proof of concept, since access to the exhibit was limited. A more comprehensive scan of the exhibit would result in a much, much higher quality 3D model.
