This is another game asset that is part of the spring update for our game ‘Fishery'. It is a decorative statue that players can place in their aquariums to give it a bit of a mysterious or ancient feeling. The design itself is quite stylized. For instance the proportions of the snake are quite wrong but I think it works and fits the overall stylization of the game. Mask from a complete cartonnage consisting of mask and three breast pieces. Excavated by the Egypt Exploration Society at Abydos. Ancient Egyptian, dating to the Ptolemaic period, 323-30 BC. The gold colouring reflects the ancient Egyptian belief that that god’s skin was made from that material. Other symbols of rebirth after death include the winged scarab beetle, show on the top of the head.
