My final entry for the ‘Lights, Camera, Immersion!' community contest. Not sure if this is animated or static, I was trying to go for a “looping Idle" sort of motion so you can really soak in the feeling of screaming across the desert in a podracer, rather than a specific segment of the story. One major focus was getting this optimized to work on mobile VR, and I think I've done that reasonably well. Custom version of a Starfighter based on a few Sci Fi ships and some parts of my own design.

Download includes a Zip with Textures in correct folders so they are easy to understand. And includes 4 versions of the model. 3 attached meshes, one with cockpit closed, one in flight mode with landing gear folded away, one landed with cockpit open, and a version with parts unattached, pivots added to landing gear and cockpit hatch, so they can be taken into a 3d program and animated.
