A short dogfight between Fokker Dr.1 and Sopwith Camel.
The stylized plane model was part of an assignment of the Game Art course at DAE. I had a lot of fun creating the plane so I decided to make a short animation aswell!
Modelled and animated in 3ds max, all textures were made in photoshop.

A stylization of the loveably wonky AMC DH.2 airplane from WW1.
First time trying handpainting, incredibly glad to be able to put that skill in my toolbox while continuing to develop it.
It was also a lot of fun to try and push a sense of space and diorama with airlines flowing around the plane.
Plane is available for free download if anyone wants to mess around with it :)

Pitts Special Stuntplane comes in 4 different color schemes, 4 different interior materials.
All materials are full PBR (4k, DirectX and OpenGL Normal maps included). The model has numerous moveable parts and it is fully rigged for Poser 9+. All materials work in either Superfly or also Firefly, because they have been created with the PBR-Emulator for Firefly (Bytefactory3D).
The model is made for very close renders, even from inside the cockpit from the pilots perspective.
