A passion project to explore different 3D tools, and to commemorate the stellar season and ongoing playoffs of the the Toronto Raptors, in addition to the Black Lives Matter social justice issues that weigh heavily on the participants in the NBA season. I will update the model as the playoffs continue (watch the recreation of Serge Ibaka's scarf hanging on the rim and the jerseys on the floor as they progress ;) Credits follow: Raptor rig from 3D artist Truong. Basketball hoop from Studio lab Jerseys modelled and textured Court and scarf modelled and textured. Note that I made many modifications to the textures and geometry of all models for a complete visual look, and to increase performance. Fiddled with Sketchfab's spectacular 3D settings to get the right look. The Northrop/McDonnell Douglas YF-23 is an American single-seat, twin-engine, supersonic stealth fighter aircraft technology demonstrator designed for the United States Air Force (USAF).
The design was a finalist in the USAF’s Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) competition, battling the Lockheed YF-22 for a production contract. Two YF-23 prototypes were built.
The YF-23 was stealthier and faster, but less agile than its competitor. After a four-year development and evaluation process, the YF-22 was announced the winner in 1991 and the design was developed into the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor, which first flew in 1997 and entered service in 2005.
