ForeVR Darts is the second flagship game by ForeVR Games Studio released for the VR Oculus Quest Community. I had the opportunity to be a part of the great development team creating this fun & engaging VR game for Quest-2 from conception to its fruition. My contribution was to co-design, create, and implement every aspect of the pipeline process. Starting from initial design & concepting phase, greyboxing, modeling, texturing, scene lighting and finally testing, optimizing, and implementing. I created 2 of the 3 main hall environment scenes; namely the UK Punk Pub Hall and the Viva Las Vegas Hall.

This is part of the focal point set above and around the arena stage where players spawns and play the game. For this fun project, the objective was to design and create a Chinese New Year traditional gift giving of ‘Red Envelope’ to present to our players from ForeVR Studio. In pushing the envelope (pun intended) with the process of design and creativity, I wanted to give our players a visually surprising, fun, and interactive prop when opening the red envelope awaiting them in our lobby. Hello everybody.
As part of Sketchfab’s Low Poly Pirates competition I created this scene. I was a big fan of TaleSpin and especially of Don Karnage. If you never heard about him, check out the best of Don Karnage on YouTube: here. However, that is why I decided to create airships.
I had a lot of fun wiht that scene. I made everything by myself. I struggled with the maelstrom. I tried a lot of different styles. I needed around three days to find a satisfiying solution for me. Altogether I worked one week at that scene.
I hope you like it. I made a big flying fish. :)
