The Maxwell is a next generation proof of concept IDOL, or Integrated Dynamic Options Loader. Built with mass production in mind, the Maxwell is equipped with experimental technology thoroughly tested by earlier prototype machines, introducing cost cutting measures and downsizing to make the technology more favorable for mass production. The goal of the Maxwell was to showcase a high performance machine at a far lower price point, built on a sturdy a modular Basis (Inner frame) that can be adapted to different scenarios and roles. While some of these features were were ultimately scrapped due to their complexity, the Maxwell served its purpose well, selling the future product to the company’s management and paving the way for future mass production units.
