Triva: The InterCity Express (QR ICE) was a class of electric multiple units built by Walkers, Maryborough, for Queensland Rail in 1987/89. Initially intended for the Spirit of Capricorn, a long-distance rail service, operated from 1988 to 2003 between Rockhampton and Brisbane. These trains were later repurposed for the Sunshine Coast line until mid-2021, when all units were retired being replaced by the New Generation Rollingstock.
