This is a laser scanned model of a historic replica coat of arms that is at the Castillo de San Marcos National Landmark in St. Augustine, Florida. The replica was scanned using a structured light instrument for purposes of making a mold casting of the piece to be used as part of a new wayside exhibit. The original coat of arms in the ravelin portion of the fort was removed in 1960, with this epoxy fiberglass model installed in its place to preserve the fragile stuccoed original.
