The Mitsubishi G4M has an interesting history and is an interesting dive. See the Sunken Media. project page for details. The exact cause of the crash is still in debate - it is located near the runway with the engines around 80m from the wreck. The debate is around whether it encountered some kind of mechanical issues just after take-off and crashed while attempting to turn back or whether it was on the way back and the engines skimmed along the water surface on impact.
