The Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) is an eight-wheel drive, diesel-powered, 10-short-ton tactical truck. The M977 HEMTT first entered service in 1982 with the United States Army as a replacement for the M520 Goer, and since that date has remained in production for the U.S. Army and other nations. Current variants have the A4 suffix.
The 10×10 Logistic Vehicle System Replacement (LVSR) is the United States Marines Corps’ (USMC) equivalent to the U.S. Army’s 8×8 HEMTT and 10×10 Palletized Load System (PLS). This is a static mesh of a Union tool box with a bakelight handle. This was created through usinf photogrammetry as a reference and then using the source images as a means of doing multiple projections to create the overall mesh. It came out pretty well though I’m still working out on the kinks of removing all of the lighting and optimizing the workflow for a more even colour texture. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1704 polygons.
