Here is my most elaborate and intricate costume yet, a replica of a dress worn by Queen Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones (seasons 3-6). This red and gold brocard dress also features very fine and detailed embroideries figuring arabesques, birds and the powerful Lannister lion. I spent 400 hours in this work, with 350 only for the hand embroideries! (I used 20m of italian mesh, 250m of golden threads, about 1400 beads and rings…) The 3D model has been computed from 445 Nikon D5300 DSLR 24 MPx images, aligned in low quality, with medium depth maps and mesh (decimated to 850k polys, with localized smoothing up to 15), and one 4k texture (sorry for the loss of details on the embroideries…).
