I sculpted this guy over seven years ago, but I found it on an old hard drive. Those spikes on the belt seem like a questionable choice though, both fashion-wise and not-impaling-your-own-arms-wise. Hello everybody.
As part of Sketchfab’s Low Poly Pirates competition I created this scene. I was a big fan of TaleSpin and especially of Don Karnage. If you never heard about him, check out the best of Don Karnage on YouTube: here. However, that is why I decided to create airships.
I had a lot of fun wiht that scene. I made everything by myself. I struggled with the maelstrom. I tried a lot of different styles. I needed around three days to find a satisfiying solution for me. Altogether I worked one week at that scene.
I hope you like it. I made a big flying fish. :)
