From the 2019 Film Ad Astra This was a fun prop to work on, what started out as simple USB stick of sorts, developed into this disosable drive. The final design is based on pre-computer CIA burn bags, where agents would dispose of classified documents. To destroy the drive, a strike-anywhere corner can be struck on most rough surfaces. Hi!
This is the first version that I made of a giant floating rock for a VR project by La Frontera VR studio.
I modelled the basic shapes in Modo, sculpted the rocks in Zbrush and made the textures using Substance Painter.
