Since I found a good cordless drill for free here on sketchfab , I decided to return the favour and put a grinder up for free. Unlike the drill ( and many other cordless power tools found online that seem to part of some educational output ) this model is not exact to any real world object , I just slapped the dewalt logo on it. After days of studying, I finally managed to reach the final result of this project! Following wild blue studio’s brilliant wild studio concept, I decided to turn this art towards handpainted and riot game style! Every process was recorded and posted on youtube, to get an idea of my work process and thoughts during the project. Perhaps, it’s the first fanart in my life. Made with love for studying sculpting, retopology, and painting by hand. For a posing purpose, she was also rigged. Since her suit is mostly painted on flat, posing was a headache ) So the topology is a mess now, but free of most visible distortions. Hooray.
