First horse finally finished! Hand painted textures done in Photoshop and modelling done in 3ds Max. This project was a lot of fun, I have never modelled a creature on for legs before so this was a nice challenge and I have learned a lot from it. I made this model for my thesis: 3D Modeling a Horse for a Videogame. The goal was to make a stylized horse with a decently low polycount and with a topology that suits animation. The textures were fully hand painted in 3DCoat.
I had to rush a bit so that’s why the mane and tail are as simple as they can be. I would’ve liked to nit pick more with the textures too but the time wasn’t on my side.
