This carved bench end was incorporated into the benches standing in the “Parish Church” until 1874. It was then sent with th remaining decorated bench ends to the Museum of Nordic Antiquities, the presnt National Museum of Denmark. This presumably late medieval, bench end was in the furniture of the “Parish Church" in a secondary role. It seems likely that it was originally made as part of the furniture in one of the churchesin the episcopal centre. Dimension: 113 x 31 x 2.5 cm.
