This old Jet Engine, Klimov RD-45 is situated in the courtyard of Universitatea Politehnica Timisoara, and I taught it would be a good project for my Masters Dissertation & Research paper. Took me around 50 hours in total from taking the pictures (600 of them), 3D model processing (6 models with different quality level and multi editing) and writing over 60 pages of ”How it’s made” plus a research paper with short but on point 3d reconstruction.
