This pack contains a selection of low-poly, real-time-ready, wicker baskets and woven bags appropriate for most Mediterranean (Inc. Middle East and North Africa) or European historical, or historical-fantasy, settings. The sources for these were primarily archaeological finds and iconography from throughout the Roman Empire. However, similar baskets could be found elsewhere throughout the Middle Ages and in to the modern period. Basket weaving technology has remained pretty stable for thousands of year. The woven items are more Mediterranean specific, as they were usually made of palm fronds - the two bags are based on Roman mosaics and archaeological finds from Egypt and come in various different positions.
