Creating the armature while I was in the block-out phase of 3D modeling really helped me get the transformation correct. Zeta Gundam combines my love for mechs and aircraft into one. I created this incorporating all of my favorite features from the countless variants of Z Gundam. I was inspired to make this rubber hose style model of my own character! It also made for some really good practice for rigging noodle joints in Blender! I learned a lot from this. Y’know I’m a little surprised it took me this long to make something in this style in 3D. I love this style! and I used to attempt to draw a lot when I was kid!
