A virtual concept designed exclusively for the PlayStation video game Grand Turismo Sport, the Ultimate Vision GT was conceived and rendered by McLaren’s design team to give virtual drivers the ultimate track-focused car. Powered by hybrid powertrain consisting of a four litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine and high output electric motors housed in the front wheels “pods”, the concept produces 1,135hp and 940 pound-feet of torque in an all-wheel-drive car that weighs only a tonne, thanks to heavy use of pioneering carbon fibre and titanium, generating a visceral experience with a potent sensation of speed.
