For this project I challenged myself to create my own textures from scratch, I used Sketchbook on my cell phone to draw (that is, the textures were made with my finger 😅), then I did a refinement in Photoshop on the Desktop. Sketchfab Weekly submission for the theme ‘Star’
Decided to try a few new techniques with this model, went through a few different concepts trying to encorporate the see-through textures and landed on this.
For anyone curious - the constellations surrounding the piece are Cancer, Capricorn and Scorpio, my big three star signs!
