Hi everyone! :) This is my very first 3D Character, a Mongolian royal guard. Her name's Altantsetseg. Born in a nomad family, she learned quickly to use sabers thanks to his dad, who fought in numerous battles. At the age of 18, she entered to serve the Emperor, who created the first Royal Army from the Yuan Dynasty. Determined and intelligent, she's become the first woman to receive the title of Major of the Yuan's Royal Army. Original concept of a Noldorin Elvish sword, with a slight inspiration from the Malaysian Kelewang (for the upper curvature featuring the swan).
Twisted hilt, lower quillon curved backward, intricately designed pommel with Azurite inlay.
Runic inscription on the blade in Sindarin “The dancing swan of the west”… (At least I tried !).
At last, I already want to try it !

Sorry for butchering the Katana to the traditionalists out there. The symbols on the Habaki should read (God & Family) or (god & home) in Japanese. The Symbols on the Tsuba & Kashira is a “Hidari Gomon” or “Triskelion” in english, which has many meanings in many cultures including Irish & Japanese. One of my favorites being “The cycle of Life, Death & Rebirth”.
