Bilbo’s Pantry is inspired by the Bag End Pantry concept created by the amazing John Howe. That concept, along with the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, motivated me to create this scene. I wanted to get back to some stylized, hand painted textures and created this scene with that goal in mind. The pantry scene is low poly and utilizes diffuse and specular maps only.
Tolkien’s works have been a big part of my life and I really enjoyed working on this piece. I hope to expand on it in the future and build more of Bag End.
