Photogrammetry scan of a Second World War ‘Projector AA 60cm Mark VI’ anti aircraft searchlight in the memorial garden at Fort Amherst, Chatham, Kent. Date: 1940. 396 photos taken in April 2023 with a Sony a7R III and processed in Reality Capture. Texture: 8192 x 8192 pixels diffuse. Photographed on overcast day so no baked in shadows. Remaining shading removed using Agisoft De-Lighter 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 301004 polygons.

The IJN Kaga was an aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War 2, Originally intended to be one of two Tosa-class battleships, she was converted under the terms of the Washington Naval Treaty to an aircraft carrier. She sank during the Battle of Midway. Kaga was modernized in 1933–1935, increasing her top speed, improving her exhaust systems, and adapting her flight decks to more modern, heavier aircraft. The interior of a single-room subterranean air shelter in North Yorkshire. The room is located beneath a small former AA and spotlight installation on the coast. Buildings like this are usually kept shut, but the hatch on this one has been broken open and it is clearly being used for drinking etc now.
