This started as anatomy sketch to practice bulkier build and soon after creating this strong sturdy torso I said to myself, hey this would fit as an orc body so i added this “tough guy” looking head. The goal was to create a cohesive design and character that looks proportionate in the amount of muscle definition, fat percentage, muscle size and stylization

I started creating the piece shortly after watching The Last of Us series. I Sculpted the bust in ZBrush, Retopologised and UV’d within Blender, textured him in Substance Painter and rendered the bust using Toolbag 4. I created the bust to demonstrate organic texturing inside of Substance Painter for WCG students and shared the files to allow them to practice the techniques for themselves.
