It can be difficult for dentistry students to relate x-rays and other 2D imagery to the 3D anatomical structures that they represent. This model was made to help them relate the landmarks on x-rays to the 3D anatomy that they refer to. The model was based on the BodyParts3D dataset and further modified in Pixologic Zbrush to add moredetail and to align with a specific x-ray in an e-learning module on cephalometry. Hypacrosaurus was a genus of duckbill dinosaur similar in appearance to Corythosaurus. Like Corythosaurus, it had a tall, hollow rounded crest, although not as large and straight. It is known from the remains of two species that spanned 75 to 67 million years ago in the Late Cretaceous and is the latest hollow-crested duckbill known from good remains in North America.
