Based upon original 2D concept art by Josh Guglielmo: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/EVP0R4 This is a practice piece I worked on when following a ‘Sci-fi Weapon Tutorial' by Michael Pavlovich. Most of the high res was done with Zbrush's z-modeler tool. Retopology and UV-unwrapping done in Maya. Textured in Substance Painter with some Photoshop used to correct normal and ambient occlusion map artifacting 3d model
