Based on some concepts by Artyom Vlaskin (a mix of three different designs, with some improvisation). I wanted to add something interesting to the back side of the shield, so I added a handle system and an emergency dagger (which can also be detached and used somewhere else). Done with Zbrush, Maya, Photoshop and Substance Painter 3D Model is ready to download for free
with 10 Texture files attached, this model contains 5849 polygons and 3000 vertices.

3d model of a real life linothorax, weighting over 40 pounds! Model has been made to be used in the mod Imperium Surrectum for the game Rome TW: Remastered.
This was the very first project i made while actually understanding how the PBR textures interacts with each other. Also, textures on this particular model were “handmade” using photoshop. No procedural knowledge was applied on this yet.
