Created for my final year project in school, I wanted to make a handpainted environment so here it is. Description: Pseudomalachite is an emerald green to dark green and blackish-green, monoclinic mineral consisting of a hydrated basic copper phosphate. It is also known as tagilite. Pseudomalachite is found in oxidized zones of copper deposits. This sample comes with radial fibrous and concentric inner structure, and reniform/botryoidal surface.
The name Pseudomalachite comes from the Greek for “false” and “malachite”, because of its similarity in appearance to the carbonate mineral malachite.
