The Intersystem Starship Aрхангел II was launched seven decades ago with the task to observe and chart the borders of the system. It was the second mission designated to reach the Edge. Half way through the mission its coms suddenly went offline. Now a derelict of space, it is drifting somewhere near the outer asteroid cloud and is believed to contain an invaluable Data treasure. Although the crew was declared deceased in action a long time ago, its signal beacon is still on, broadcasting a lonely sound..... This is one of the projects I did for the CGMA stylized props course with Ashleigh Warner.
Scifi was a huge challenge for me, as it’s not a subject I generally work with. So I had to go back and forth a lot with the concept, but eventually it turned out kinda cool, so I’m glad I went through all the steps.
