The village of Thee Ain (Arabic: ذي عين), Dhi Ayn or Zee Ain village is in the Al-Mikhwat province of the Al-Baha Region, Saudi Arabia. The village is characterized by houses built from polished stones and dating back to the 8th century. It is located to the southwest of the city of Al Makhwah about 20 km from the village. The village includes more than 40 houses and a mosque adjacent to the river. Nearby forts protected them from raids.The village was established in the tenth century AH, and witnessed many invasions between the tribes before the unification of the Kingdom by King Abdul Aziz Al Saud. This village is famous for agricultural crops such as bananas, Kadi, basil, lemon and palm trees, stores, and scenic river. The climate of the village is hot in summer and mild in winter because it is part of the Tihamah region, at about 1985 meters of elevation. The rain is heavy in the summer and medium in the winter. On arriving in London, the India Office returned to Maharani Jind Kaur her casket of Jewels from Lahore which had been confiscated when she had escaped from British custody. Jind Kaur lived in the UK from January 1861 where she remained until her death in Kensington, London, on 1 August 1863. Her jewels were passed down to her son Maharajah Duleep Singh and thence to his various children. Bamba and her sisters possessed an impressive collection of spectacular jewels inherited from their grandmother Jindan, including pearls, large diamond rings, and a number of ruby and spinel necklaces. This piece formed part of Princess Bamba Duleep Singh’s jewelry collection. This is a laser scanned model of a historic replica coat of arms that is at the Castillo de San Marcos National Landmark in St. Augustine, Florida. The replica was scanned using a structured light instrument for purposes of making a mold casting of the piece to be used as part of a new wayside exhibit. The original coat of arms in the ravelin portion of the fort was removed in 1960, with this epoxy fiberglass model installed in its place to preserve the fragile stuccoed original.
