7 years ago, I scanned this Nanotyrannus : https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/nanotyrannus-lancensis-young-t-rex-7b0967fa27674d959647868686b6717b . However, the model was far from perfect. I figured I would scan it again for the Agisoft Nature Challenge. This time, I managed to create a watertight model that should be 3D printable. I also set the number of polygons to 300k on purpose : half the weight of the original model, but with more details ! This is a cast of the real fossil of a Nanotyrannus Lancensis found in Gilmore, Montana, in the Hell Creek formation, in 1946. It is about 65 million years old. Scientists used to think Nanotyrannus Lancensis was a species distinct from the famous T-Rex, but recent discoveries tend to show that a nanotyrannus is actually a young T-Rex. You might ask yourself why the skull is not symmetrical : this deformation occured during the fossilization process. 3D scanned at the Museum d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris, France. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 300000 polygons.

Rungrado 1st of May stadium, Located in Pyongyang, North Korea. This rather mysterious stadium is proclaimed to have 150K seats by the North Korean government, however it is argued to have 114K by the people from StadiumDB.com. This model, however, has only 107K seats. In any case it would still be the football stadium with the major capacity on the planet. I initially uploaded this model without seats because it wasn’t possible to upload it with full seating, bot now I’m able to do so with a different format, I tried to re-upload in the same post as the original but some materials weren’t working well and I couldn’t do anything about it, so I deleted it and uploaded this as a completely new file.
