It’s almost a year ago that I uploaded my first ship model, the IJN Fubuki, so I decided to make one of her more advanced sister ships: The IJN Ayanami.
The Ayanami was build for the Imperial Japanese Navy and when introduced into service she was one of the most powerful destroyer in the world.
She sustained critical damage after being shelled by the USS Washington during the second phase of the Battle of Guadalcanal (15 November 1942) and was later scuttled by IJN Uranami.

This is an old character which I reworked to make it real time and compatible with Blender Eevee, rigged, with 4K textures and one of the eyes from the bundle of “hand painted realistic eyes” that you can find on my store.
