Print ready rocket Measure units are millimeters, the rocket itself is about 5 cm in height (without smoke). Mesh is manifold, no holes, no inverted faces, no bad contiguous edges. Three versions of the model is available: 1) P_Rocket_Solid (.blend, .stl, .obj, .fbx) 378400 triangular faces. This files contains two objects the rocket itself and the smoke part. For stl here is one separate file for each part. 2) P_Rocket_Hollow (.blend, .stl, .obj, .fbx) 428796 triangular faces. Here is three hollow parts: the top part, the main part and the smoke. Trying out different things, this turned out to be quite okay!… Displacement is fine enough, had to generate another (lighter) normalmap though. Substance Alchemist is still in beta (as of writing this) and I’m yet to find out why it sometimes generates overly-aggresive normalmaps sigh

I have been wanting to do this for a while because I always thought it was facinating how much this painting already looked like a lowpoly 3d scene! I’ve also always been a fan of the aesthetic of the Futurist movement.
I finally sat down to do this because I realized that this would be perfect for this month’s lowpoly challenge, seeing as Futurism was an art movement that portrayed utopian visions of a high tech future. So with that in mind, this is my second entry to the UtopiaLPChallenge, this one being in the pastel color scheme rather then the neon one like my first submission. I would have used a longer chain of buildings to be more faithful to the original work, but wanted to ensure that I remained within the 2000 triangle limit (final count for scene is 1964 tris) of the challenge.
