Another 1 and a half week project of a medieval heavy crossbow. Inspired after a portfolio critique and been wanting to create a medieval/fantasy inspired piece for some time now.
Modelling done in Maya with certain detailed parts such as the wood carvings and stock ornaments done with the help of Zbrush and photoshop. Textured with substance painter and rendering done on Unreal engine 5.
This might be my last project in a while since I have an actual full time job that I have to attend to, however I will be back with more projects in the future and will keep on improving my skills as required. A scene I’m making to practice my props and environments modelling/texturing. Setting this scene and props up in Unity.
Still WIP, I got all the pieces but I want to make it a level.
Started and done within 8 days.
All the models and textures were done in 3DCoat 4.9 and Blender. Then imported to Unity.
