Another new installation of the dragon variants after a while, but less outdated this time. A variant of dragon, progenitor of a once renowned hierarchy among the dragon world. Overall rigged as usual but nothing too complicated id say since I usually like to keep it relatively simple, so if youve seen the other models you can expect the same thing in general (but in the form of a dragon though). Plus some animtations I managed to pull off. Had this guy in mind since about 2 or 3 models ago but I cant help but stick to a specific lineup of projects, perfect or not im humbly satisfied afterall with the results c: worth every migraine as usual. Can probably go nicely in some renders or not and things alike ESPECIALLY with some fire vfx. I stumbled across an amazing concept of this bugbear by Jaemin Kim and thought it’d be the perfect opportunity to make a full character from a concept. I started by sculpting the whole body in ZBrush and then retopologized using the Zsphere tool. I then went on to unwrap him in 3ds Max, texture him in Substance Painter, finally using Maya to rig and do the simple breathing animation.

Yet another rig of a variant of dragon I made in a span of 3 weeks. Though I very mostly made up the design as I went along (as usual) I had several insperations in which some may show more than others ranging from a VRex to the modern godzilla, to crocodiles to a handful of dragon art on the internet and etc. Would look even better if Sketchfab was able to process Blender bendy bones, but outside of Blender the tail, neck and wings will look like that (and if animation was my specialty). Was originally going to be a dark gray and somewhat similar and simpler patterns, but ended up with this instead. Didnt really establish any kind of lore n stuff as usual ,but I would imagine about this boi being a green fire breather that would result into toxic or venomous fumes and being extremely ferral.
